Evaluation Toolbox
Prior Interpreter
What if you could gather knowledge from stakeholders about what they expect to happen in evaluation – their prior knowledge – then display and pool that wisdom? I designed the Prior Interpreter to help you do just that.
Love Dares Not
The concept of a computer system that reads anonymous comments and only reveals the text if they start to follow a common theme of agreement was created by Cory Doctorow in his book Walkaways. This tool is a humble homage to that book to help people in their work to improve organizations.
Bayesian Decisions
We can use information from simple experiments and the cost of different alternatives to determine which course we should take rationally. This tool asks a series of questions and advises you on the best course of action using Bayesian reasoning.
Abductive Bayesian Coding (ABC)
Abductive Bayesian Coding is a way of pre-registering our hypotheses about the patterns we expect to observe in qualitative datasets. This tool performs the entire mathematical aspect of this process, allowing you to input your expectations about the data you will observe, compare these expectations to reality, and show how your beliefs about the phenomenon under investigation should be rationally updated.
